Aircalin is the international company for New Caledonia. A limitedcompany created in 1983, its principal mission is to transport Caledonians,notably to and from France to ensure the continuity of the French territory. Italso offers a direct link to other French Pacific collectivities:Wallis-and-Futuna and French Polynesia.
It has an important economic role to play by contributing to thedevelopment of the tourist industry in New Caledonia, and providing the freightservice necessary for the archipelago.
The fleet
CAREFULLY SELECTED AIRCRAFT
Founded in 1983, AIRCALIN is New Caledonia’s international airline,operating flights to the Pacific Region countries and providing a gateway tothe world.
The airline’s key missions are facilitating travel abroad for NewCaledonian passengers, developing visitor traffic to expand the tourismindustry and ensuring the freight transport capability essential to NewCaledonia’s economy.
As a member of IATA and an IOSA certified operator, AIRCALIN meets themost stringent international standards for safety and reliability.
With its fleet of Airbus A.330-200 and A.320 aircrafts, AIRCALIN operate22 international flights to 11 destinations from Noumea: Tokyo, Osaka, Sydney,Brisbane, Melbourne, Auckland, Port-Vila, Nadi, Wallis, Futuna and Papeete. Theairline also fulfils a public service mission by operating daily flightsbetween the islands of Wallis and Futuna using 19 seater Twin Otter aircraft. The maintenance is realized according to the European standards (EASAPart M and Part 145).
